Overview
The RM44 / RM58 is an encoder for mounting on electric motors or other devices for measuring shaft position and speed. The solid metal housing offers highest IP protection classes, high EMC immunity, an extended operating temperature range and best possible shock and vibration resistance. Output signals are provided in industry standard absolute, incremental, analogue sinusoidal and linear voltage formats.
The RM44 / RM58 with external zeroing is designed for setting the encoder zero position by using a zero pen. It is designed for a supply voltage of 5 V only.
The RM44 / RM58 with base unit offers resolutions up to 14 bit and some decimal resolutions, installation air gap of ±0.1 mm and economic price.
The RM44 / RM58 with AM4096 offers only binary resolutions from 5 to 12bit, installation air gap of ±0.5 mm and has lower price than RM44 / RM58 with base unit.
